Even though this year may look a little different – we are still having a great time making music. I am so excited to watch the musical growth of all of our students. Music is a gift I share with everyone I meet – whether through teaching, performing or composing.
This year my goal is for all students at NCS to find their inner musician –and have an appreciation for music. In music we will be creating, performing, responding and making connections. We will be exploring body percussion, performance practices, composers, improvisation, and rhythms from around the world just to name a few. We will also continue the NCS elementary band and percussion groups, where students will be able to perform together on musical instruments.
