About Me
I began my journey at NCS in 2011. I first served as a building-based substitute for two years, then taught First Grade for six years and Second Grade for another six years. I am now excited to begin a new chapter as a Special Education teacher, where I will support students and staff in every way possible. It is my hope that all students grow into leaders of themselves, their learning, and their community.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our son, and our dog, Vader. As a family, we love camping and cheering on the Buffalo Bills!
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe communication is the key to your child’s success and to building a strong parent–teacher partnership. My hope this year is that your child will grow as a fluent reader, a creative writer, a confident mathematician, and an inspiring leader. I will encourage each student to take ownership of their learning, reflect on their progress, set new goals, and celebrate successes along the way.
